About Sophie Courtiour

Sophie Courtiour has lived and worked in various rural environments for most of her life. She specializes in large-scale sculptures and living willow projects. Her work has been featured in many national publications and gardening magazines. (The Willow Pony can be viewed outside the Community Centre, St. Martins)

Artist Statement of Sophie Courtiour

Sophie Coutiour discovered her natural talent in creating incredibly lifelike, yet somewhat abstract, sculptures very early on in life, her art has consistently been received with critical acclaim.
As well as creating private pieces of art for individuals she has commissioned a number of large public sculptures and architectural structures nationwide.

Thank you for providing me with such a great service and wonderful sculpture

I can say more....

It`s a present for my fathers 80th and the perfect thing to have found for someone who already has most things! He`s an ornithologist too and adores the garden. We have bought it as a family and Nigel engraved our family crest on to it and went out of his way to deliver it to us saving us a fortune! It`s so heavy!
